History

The Margo was a small British fishing boat with a diesel engine, weighing in at 30tn. She sank on 12 November 2000 when her bow hit a floating object in a moderate sea. Seawater flooded in through the hole in her bow and she sank within 30 minutes of the incident. The wind was force 4-6. There were no casualties.

The Margo now lies at the bottom of Loch Inver at a maximum depth of 30m, oriented at 160 degrees.

When to dive

Diveable at any state of the tide.
