Zara shoal sits just north of Strangford in the narrows leading up to Strangford Lough. Whilst very tidal, it has a maerl bed and a steep drop off.

Zara shoal is situated in the middle of the narrows leading into Stangford Lough, thus is very tidal and must only be dived at slack water. Good boat cover is essential.
