Fyne Pioneer, Loch Fyne

Site Name: Eilean Mor - Sandray - Outer Hebrides

Dive Site Info

The wall descends down to a maximum depth of 25 metres where divers will find a sandy bottom. There is a lot of high energy life due to the tide that rips past the point, necessitating a dive at slack water only. This scenic wall dive is notable for the sheer number of large, brightly coloured dahlia anemones. You can also find many types of nudibranch, sponges, shrimps, hydroids, seaweeds and anemones.

When to dive

Slack water only.
