Simon Exley - Instructor
Simon is the owner and manager of Hydrapro and Fyne Pioneer, and as well as the day to day running of Hydrapro he is responsible for the online shop and website. Simon is a IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix Instructor as well as a BSAC Open Water Instructor, he is also qualified as a Compressor Operator Instructor, BSAC Diver Cox Assessor, BSAC Boating Instructor and a Trimix Gas Blending Instructor. As a BSAC Boat Handler and Diver Coxswain, as well as holding his RYA Advanced Powerboat certificate with commercial endorsement from the MCA. When he is not found working or diving, he is most often found running for the hills to do a spot of kayaking or mountaineering.
Dave Exley - Skipper
Dave can often be found on the boat during the winter months when he is not working offshore in the oil and gas industry, he has extensive experience in the commercial sector including DP2, commerical diving, as well as offshore wind installations. With well over 30 years in the industry he is an invaluable asset to the business.
Libby Anderson - Crew and Trainee Skipper
Libby is a BSAC Dive Leader and Diver Coxswain. She particularly enjoys expeditionary diving, both wreck and scenic. Libby does a lot of dive site research and has written many of the site guides on our website. Libby is currently completing IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix and aims to further her seamanship education by completing her VHF radio course and sea survival course in the near future.
Josie Robb - Crew and Trainee Skipper
Josie has been with us now for just less than a year, and has been a great help already. She came to us as an ocean diver, with her RYA powerboat level 2, however she is fast gaining experience both in the water and on the surface. During her spare time, she is still out on the water working as an RYA sailing instructor!
Rebecca Wood - Instructor
Becky is a PADI Instructor, who complete her PADI Instructor training in Australia, and has since worked in locations including the east coast of Australia, Spain and the North of England. Becky is also a Student Paramedic in her final year of training, and as well as crewing on the boat and working as an instructor for Hydrapro, also assists with some of the administration. In her free time (what's that!) she is also an ultra distance runner and adventure racer.
Darren Morgan - Instructor
Darren is a BSAC Instructor, who has completed his training with in a club environment, he is qualified as an IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix diver as well as a BSAC Dive Leader. Darren helps with both the recreational as well as the technical training and is currently working towards his IANTD Technical Dive Supervisor qualification. He is also equally at home on Fyne Pioneer, as he holds his RYA Level 2 Powerboat qualification, as well as a VHF, oxygen administration and First aid qualification.
